Program and adjacencies

Build the space program, set adjacencies and area targets.

The program turns the brief into spaces, quantities and area targets the design can be checked against.

Space program

Open Space program. Each row is a space type with a name, quantity, area and department. Program area is quantity × area, plus the circulation allowance you enter.

Adjacencies

Open Adjacencies to set which spaces should be close, connected or kept apart. Relationships are symmetric: setting A next to B also sets B next to A.

Area targets

Open Area targets to see targets by use. Compare them with the design later in Design → Program fit or the Areas panel.
