Levels and grids

Work with levels, the reference grid and snapping.

Levels

Open Levels & grids in the BIM phase to see each level's name, elevation and height. Choose the Active level before you place elements; they are placed on that level.

Grids and snapping

Use Structural grid in the Build palette to place grid lines, and Add grid line to extend it. Turn Snap on to snap to the grid, and set the Grid snap spacing.

Units

Geometry is stored in metres. Properties display in the project's measurement system: millimetres, centimetres, metres, inches or feet.
